Lego Mindstorms EV3 is the third generation robotics kit in Lego's Mindstorms line. It is the successor to the second generation Lego Mindstorms NXT 2.0 kit. The "EV" designation refers to the "evolution" of the Mindstorms product line. "3" refers to the fact that it is the third generation of computer modules, first was the RCX and the second is the NXT. The Lego Mindstorms EV3 consists of 1X Smart Brick, 2X Large Motors, 1X Medium Motor, 1X color sensor, 1X ultrasonic sensor, 2X touch sensor, 1X Gyro Sensor, Each of these components has its own features and way of working all of that you will learn in this lesson. You will also know all the names of the Building LEGO Technic Pieces which are included in the set.
